Valahs

Valahs is a loft, recording studio and terazza guest house located in Toledo, Spain. The space was designed for creative people, or just individuals looking for a unique getaway experience in rural Spain. The loft space is part of a building that was constructed in the early 80’s. In 2017, we remodelled and decorated the space that combined gothic and industrial elements, with a nod to Seattle and Toledo history. The space includes a loft with a rooftop porch. We limited the colour scheme to black, grey and a pop of deep purple. As much as possible, filled the room with as many circular forms as possible throughout the loft and the porch. We also wanted the customer to be able to change the mood, by installing purple under-lighting, and appliques that have a lens on them.
