Albert OH Launches Second Signature Co-Branded Hard Rock Hotel Fashion Line
Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas Launches Artist Series Merchandise with designer Albert OH at Fashion Launch Event on October 24th.
Albert OH reinterprets the iconic brand in 8 unique designs.
October 11, 2014 – Las Vegas, NV – Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas and the Hard Rock Store will host a fashion launch party for Of Shadows and Lights, a limited edition, signature line for men, women and babies, by long-time Hard Rock Hotel designer Albert “OH” Ochosa, featuring rock photography by Maryanne Bilham. Up and coming singer/songwriter Emree Franklin will perform an exclusive acoustic set.
The message in Of Shadows and Lights explores the journey and unlocking of the creative spirit within ourselves. His 8 different designs reveal Albert’s influences in the custom culture world, his fascination with the ‘Rockstar’ mystique, and the Hard Rock Hotel’s own lore and brand heritage.
“The rise from the shadows of countless aspiring musicians to the light of fame, and sometimes their descent back runs deep within the memorabilia lined walls at the Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas.” says Albert.
Adding more rockstar allure to a women’s tee is veteran rock photographer Maryanne Bilham, known for her work with Santana, Slash, Dave Navarro and recently Def Leppard’s joint tour with Kiss.
Of Shadows and Lights is Albert and Maryanne’s second fashion collaboration with the Hard Rock Hotel. Albert, who has worked with the brand since 2005, is notable for redesigning The Joint logo, developing franchise-wide creative for other properties worldwide, and rendering highly collectible concert posters for rock royalty such as Def Leppard, Guns N’ Roses and Imagine Dragons. Since 2003, Albert is also Danny “Count” Koker of Count’s Kustoms (Counting Cars) designer for his many ventures in Las Vegas.
The launch party is at the Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas on Friday, October 24th and starts at 6pm inside B-Sides across from the Hard Rock Store – a pop-up retail/art space. (4455 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas Nevada). Complimentary wine bar.
